he made the headlines? he didnt even make it to wikipedia! in my book, youre no one if u havent made it to WP. i dont even remember ever hearing of this guy, and i thot i was fairly attentive to the spy circus and its clowns. i guess that’s b/c this is CANADIAN news and that barely makes the back page of american newspapers. i think there’s a secret usa policy to ignore canada, or, at most, dismiss it as a trifling, insignificant country. the strategy is to diminish canadian nationalism and cripple their confidence. it wdnt do for canada to get too big for its britches, and the usa is canada’s britches.
are there any more than no [0] people who believe anything that comes out of the spy folks? they put out an image that they are always lurking around alleyways, uncovering some villain’s plots and saving the good folks just in the nick of time. i think they make half of those phony foiled plots up, just to tell their bosses that they are on the ball or to fool the public. [like that iranian/american unemployed shlameel who was going to blow up the saudi ambassador and the israeli embassy and kill lots of people who got in the way] it’s a good strategy; it keeps the public nervous and feeling dependent, just like mafia protection-they scare you and make u believe that u need their protection. and the plots that they dont just make up, they seem to really muck up,like the keystone cops or the gang who cdnt shoot straight. there was the iranian nuclear science defector amiri who defected back to iran and there was that cowboy clown, ray davis.
if these spies were the brilliant sleuths that they pretend to be, braver,more courageous, cleverer than anyone else, why cant they find s.ivens and who shot the iranian girl in texas?
maybe this Delisle story was co-authored by canadian and usa spies as a show of unity against the godzilla/king kong monster always stomping its way from the east. its getting very hard to take this stuff seriously. its like being transported into a fantasy world created by not nearly as smart as they think they are gamers.

must be the new intel way. come in from the cold and lip off about how they were on top of it the whole time. i still find the 2.0underwear bomber story very fishy . this almost seems a ruse to conflict the minds of the bomb makers and enlistment folks. wanting this info leak out there for news. normally we’d not hear that for decades. a joint effort no less to put doubt into the minds those so called ‘warriors’.

i am stunned that the fbi cant find its missing agent, ivers! he was reported missing within hours of his disappearance, and this is LA, not west waziristan. i am stunned they have given up the search so quickly, esp considering the guy worked in national security. i am stunned at the lightening speed with which the story abruptly disappeared. i think something fishy is going on, and i would not be at all stunned by that.

This article was NOT as well written as claimed. Saw the article the day it was n the paper and not so impressed. The writer, the retired history professor left out some important points and probably did so for reason. NO emphasis that from the time the saboteurs were caught and tried until they were executed was about two weeks period. And done so with haste at the behest of FDR who wanted and DEMANDED that his wishes for a quick and speedy trial and execution be done in haste. This case of the German saboteurs is the basis for declaring these captured Al Qaeda terrorists as UNLAWFUL ENEMY COMBATANTS AND SUBJECT TO MILITARY TRIBUNALS. UNLAWFUL that word that the media so conveniently leaves on on purpose. Bush and his lawyers refer to the case as the basis for the legal standing of Gitmo tribunals and the detention of those held at the facility. It seems that what was good for the German should also be good for the Al Qaeda terrorist as precedent is such an important aspect of American law. But so many disagree and that is why this “Professor” has left out certain crucial aspects of the CASE.

Well it won’t be the first time America has dumped on Britain bigtime. Apart from Obama’s dislike for the UK they also have General Michael Hayden who seems to delight in ruining British run operations and for no particular reason than his own acumen.

Thanks to loose lips, again America’s, MI6′s agent is now useless and cannot be used again.

This is not “NEW” news, in 1991 as a Petty Officer First Class who was in charge of computer security for a Navy VP squadron (as a “Collateral Duty” not a full time job.) I went to a “Security Fair” as it was called at the time and one of the presenters said then; “As soon as all of the field commands local computer networks are interconnected with WAN links, the Navy will have built a beast that can not be made secure.” This was said in 1991, the argument then was that unless we tossed out all the Novell and Microsoft computer systems and required everyone to have a Unix biased Tempest complaint network, where all OS code comes from one place where it is Government Controlled we would never be able to secure it. The other view was that only an Operating System where everyone could see all the source code could ever have a hope of being made secure, because no company or government could provide the amount of scrutiny needed to find all the “flaws” in the code that would make it insecure. The only way to be sure that all possible exploits to be found was to give away an operating system to the world and let anyone use it and be able to look at the code, that way we could get “free” labor and the best minds we do not yet know about to find the flaws. Now I wonder, did Linux happen because of this or did this happen because of Linux? My point is we knew then…1991..that this day would come.

AND I can understand that 6 wouldn’t trust CONFIDENTIAL data in a Police lock up?!

i don’t believe the troubles in libya are over by far. retribution killings will be ongoing . a successful dictator has people in place in other countries and with the ability to move around in europe, there would be a number of people already on place by gaddafi. just having read the latest burnie gunther novel by p. kerr, there is any number of people or groups to suspect . one being someone on his staff who was planted along time ago. even the butler . more details are needed and vienna police won’t be so quick to offer information. but this is a warnimg to all who crossed quaddafi , even sarkozy , who if he loses the french election, might be a target in future. it was of naive of ghamen to think he was safe. someone close or some well payed killer from way off the radar.
