US-Turkey intel sharing continues despite Gaza clash. Turkey and the United States are continuing intelligence sharing, aimed against Kurdish PKK separatists. This despite the two countries’ differences on Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip, according to General Fahri Kir, chief of Turkey’s Homeland Security Department of General Staff.
CIA unusually public over need for Arabic, Farsi speakers. The CIA has been trying to hire more people who are fluent in languages spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Iraq. PRI Marketplace‘s Jeff Tyler explains that the usually secretive agency is trying a more open approach this time.
