- Libyan defector Moussa Koussa ‘was an MI6 double agent’. This remains unconfirmed, but British intelligence author Gordon Thomas claims that the former head of Libya’s intelligence agency, who recently defected to London, “has been acting as a double agent for MI6 and the CIA for a decade”.
- Israel pressures Russia to prevent EU Palestine recognition. Isaac Molho, Israel’s top negotiator on the Palestinian issue, made a secret trip to Moscow last week in order to dissuade Russia from supporting the European Union’s intention to present in two weeks’ time a plan for the establishment of a Palestinian state.
